FITNESS INSTRUCTOR - Certificate in Exercise and Health Fitness (CEHF)

Become a Fitness Instructor and qualify  with a Certificate in Exercise and Health Fitness (CEHF) which is the only University  aacredited Fitness instructor qualification in Ireland. It is awarded by the University of Limerick and is placed at  Level 6 on the National Qualifications Framework and (NFQ) and Level 5 on the European Qualifications Framework (EQF)

Certificate in Exercise and Health Fitness FEES:
 

The course fee for the C.E.H.F 2011/2012 academic year is €2565
A €975 non refundable deposit is payable on acceptance to the course (not with application).

The balance of €1590 due at NCEF Head Office a minimum of 1 week prior to programme commencement.

Please note that once students commence the programme all fees paid are non refundable

Certificate in Exercise and Health Fitness Application Procedure

In order for your application form to be processed for entry onto the Certificate in Exercise and Health Fitness please submit a copy of your official Leaving Certificate results or Equivalent with the application to the NCEF Head Office Office.

 

All qualification documentation must be submitted in the English language. Please ensure all translations to English are carried out by an official translator and accompanied by official transcripts.

 

Applications can be completed online or alternatively you can download the application form and post to the NCEF Head Office, F.A.O Jessica O’ Donnell, PESS Building, University of Limerick, Limerick

Summary of the Application Procedure:
1. Application form and copy of the official Leaving Certificate Results or equivalent to NCEF Head Office (available online or on request)
2. For applicants that do not hold a leaving certificate or equivalent please submit a Portfolio of Learning (POL) with application form (POL’s are available from NCEF Head Office on request. A cost of €125 applies to all Portfolio of Learning applicants however if successful this fee is then deducted from the cost of overall programme fees. Please submit RPL fee with initial application.
3. If you fulfil all the criteria and are successful an acceptance pack will be posted to you
4. The completed acceptance forms and required documentation and €975 deposit are returned to head office by the deadline date given in the acceptance pack.
