FEES AND APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Fees:€3225.00 A Non Refundable deposit of: €975.00 due on acceptance. Second instalment of €975 due before Monday 19th Sept. 2011 and the balance of €1275 is due before Thurs.23rd Feb. 2012.
Please note that once students commence the programme all fees paid are non refundable.
Application:
In order for your application form to be processed for entry onto Degree programme please submit a copy of your official Diploma in Exercise and Health Fitness (CEHF) with Honors Grade 2.2, a detailed CV, two written references, the generic application and OFA certificate to the NCEF Head Office Office.
Applicants that do notn hold the Diploma in Exercise and Health Fitness or equivalent NFQ Level 7, at honours grade level 2.2 must apply through the Recognition of Prior Learning Scheme by submitting a detailed Portfolio of Learning (POL) and the RPL processing fee of €125. Application Procedure Summary:
1. Application form and copy of your official results/official certificates, CV, written references and OFA certificate to NCEF Head Office (available online or on request)
2. For applicants that do not hold the entry requirements please submit a Portfolio of Learning (POL) with application form (POL’s are available from NCEF Head Office on request. A cost of €125 applies to all Portfolio of Learning applicants however if successful this fee is then deducted from the cost of overall programme fees. Please submit RPL fee with initial application.
3. If you fulfil all the entry criteria then you will be invited to attend for interview.
4. Successful interview applicants will then submit the completed acceptance forms and required documentation and €975 deposit to head office by the deadline date given in the acceptance pack.

address is clearly stated on your application form.
CONTINUE YOUR EDUCATION: Progress your NFQ Level 6, fitness instructor qualification, (Certificate) to Diploma, NFQ Level 7 (DEHF) or Degree, NFQ Level 8 (Bsc.)
Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Exercise & Health Fitness are qualified to apply their knowledge, skills and competencies so as to provide direction, leadership and professional expertise at the highest management & promotional levels in the Exercise & Health Fitness sector. Employment varies from areas such as business management, human resources, event management and marketing in Exercise & Health Fitness to public service areas such as health promotion, and researching /developing policy for diverse populations. The B. Sc. programme year places a strong emphasis on entrepreneurial skills and setting up your own business within the sector.
