FIT FOR LIFE-LIFESTYLE MANAGEMENT- FFL

STAGE 2 (DEHF) LOCATION OVERVIEW

The Stage 2 Fit for Life-Lifestyle Managment module is an e-learning based module which is delivered through CD, DVD and supported by email and a support website This is one of two stage 2 DEHF modules which a Health and Fitness professional can complete from home.

The NCEF Head Office (NET) is the only certified provider for the Stage 2 FFL module.

The Module will be delivered via CD ROM as this will negate the need for a Broadband or hi-speed connection as all the content will be on the CD. The content on the CD is divided into 10 units or sections of which two of these, (Learning Theories & Facilitation) relate to content designed to help you understand how people learn and provides information on a number of methods and tools you can use to best facilitate learning in a group setting. These modules will prove invaluable to you as you plan and prepare your session for delivery to your group.  The other 8 units relate to the content that you will be delivering to groups as an NCEF FFL Lifestyle Management Specialist.

Each time you place the CD in your PC or laptop it will automatically open on the homepage. This page is structured very similar to a website layout with which most individuals are familiar with. Within each of the units, you will find educational content in text, image, diagrammatic and video format designed to provide you with an interesting, interactive and motivating learning experience.

Although there are no formal classroom contact hours, you will not be abandoned! Each student will have an e-coordinator who will be there to support you and help you with any problems or queries regarding module content or technical assistance with your CD for the full duration of your studies
