CONTINUING EDUCATION-
If you hold the Certificate in Exercise and Health Fitness (or equivalent)
then continue your education by completing the Diploma/B.Sc in Exercise and Health
Fitness NFQ Level 7/8. The purpose of the Diploma/B.Sc is to provide an opportunity
for aspiring exercise & health fitness professionals to follow a pathway from Certificate,
to Diploma to Degree by accumulating European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) credits
on a stage by stage basis.

HEALTH RELATED ACTIVITY FOR CHILDREN-
In order for your application form to be processed for entry onto the Health Related
Activity for Children module please submit a copy of your official Certificate in
Exercise and Health Fitness (CEHF) results/certificate with the application and OFA
certificate (along with all required documentation-
Applications can be completed online or alternatively you can download the application form and post to the NCEF Head Office, F.A.O Jessica O’ Donnell, PESS Building, University of Limerick, Limerick.

Fees 2011/2012:
NON Fitness Professionals Ireland (FPI) €735
Fitness Professionals Ireland (FPI) Members: €680
Non Refundable Deposit of €475 on acceptance. The balance of €260/€205 is due as per Garda Vetting deadlines (approx 12 weeks prior to start date).Please note that once students are registered the programme all fees paid are non refundable.
Dual Promotion discounts can not be taken in conjunction with FPI discounted rates.
Application Procedure Summary:
1. Application form and copy of your CEHF results or equivalent (NCEF Level 1 current) and OFA certificate to NCEF Head Office (available online or on request)
2. For applicants that do not hold a the CEHF or equivalent please submit a Portfolio of Learning (POL) with application form (POL’s are available from NCEF Head Office on request. A cost of €125 applies to all Portfolio of Learning applicants however if successful this fee is then deducted from the cost of overall programme fees. Please submit RPL fee with initial application.
3. If you fulfil all the criteria and are successful an acceptance pack will be posted to you
4. The completed acceptance forms and required documentation and €475 deposit are returned to head office by the deadline date given in the acceptance pack.

Please note once accepted onto the programme all correspondence will be sent via
email so it is vital to ensure you have a valid current email address and that this
address is clearly stated on your application form.
All qualification documentation must be submitted in the English language. Please ensure all translations to English are carried out by an official translator and accompanied by official transcripts.
