FITNESS INSTRUCTOR - Certificate in Exercise and Health Fitness (CEHF)

Become a Fitness Instructor and qualify  with a Certificate in Exercise and Health Fitness (CEHF) which is the only University  aacredited Fitness instructor qualification in Ireland. It is awarded by the University of Limerick and is placed at  Level 6 on the National Qualifications Framework and (NFQ) and Level 5 on the European Qualifications Framework (EQF)

The Certificate in Exercise and Health Fitness provided by NCEF Head Office is available at Limerick (University of Limerick as a Day course or Weekend course) ,

Cork (Leeside Leisure as a Weekend course) and

Waterford (every second year as a weekend course).

 

The Limerick Day course is a full time programme of study. Sessions are provisionally structured to take place Monday-Thursday inclusive of tutorial hours between the hours of 10am-5.15pm. All bank holidays are scheduled free. Study weeks are time tabled into the course.

 

The Limerick weekend (Limerick/Waterford) course is a part-time programme of study. Sessions are provisionally structured to take place on Friday from 6.45pm-10pm and Saturday from 9.30am – 4.45pm each week.  

 

The Cork weekend course is a part-time programme of study. Sessions are provisionally structured to alternate between Friday from 7pm-10.15pm and Saturday 9.30am – 4.45pm one weekend followed by Saturday and Sunday 9.30am – 4.45pm. It will alternate each week for the duration of the programme.It will alternate each week for the duration of the programme.

 

The Waterford weekend course is a part-time programme of study (not scheduled until October 2013). Sessions are provisionally structured to alternate between Friday from 7pm-10.15pm and Saturday 9.30am – 4.45pm one weekend followed by Saturday and Sunday 9.30am – 4.45pm. It will alternate each week for the duration of the programme.

 

All bank holiday weekends are scheduled free. (e.g. if there is a bank holiday Monday then there will be no contact time the Fri/Sat/sun)

 

Please note the above timings are provisional and timetables such as start and/or finish times may vary slightly however full are not confirmed until September 2012
