National Council for Exercise and Fitness 2009

NCEF Certificate in Exercise and Health Fitness (C.E.H.F) can be provided by Industry or Educational based Certified Providers.

1. Industry Certified Providers: The Certificate in Exercise and Health Fitness Programme offered by Certified Providers are available to applicants that meet the entry requirements for the programme for which they apply. There are currently three Industry Certified Providers, NCEF Education & Training (NET), Motions Training and Maltings Training.

Application Procedure: Apply directly to the Certified Provider by logging onto their website or contacting them by phone. These contact links are available in Programme Locations e.g. Dublin, Limerick or Cork.

NCEF Education & Training(NET): Programmes of Study offered by NET are available to applicants that meet the entry requirements for the programme for which they apply. All NET programmes of study are operated directly by the NCEF Head Office, University of Limerick.
Applications can be completed online, downloaded directly from the website or a hard copy can be posted to you on request. NET venues include Church of Ireland College of Education, Rathmines & Sportslink Santry,University of Limerick, Limerick, Metrolpole Hotel in Cork and Waterford Crystal Sports & Leisure in Waterford

Motions Training: Programmes of Study offered by Motions are available to applicants that meet the entry requirements for the certfiicate programme. Applications can be completed online, downloaded directly from the Motions website ( www.motions.ie) or a hard copy can be posted to you on request. Motions venues include Palmerstown Sports & Leisure and Irish Life, Dublin Cty Centre

Maltings Training:Programmes of Study offered by Maltings are available to applicants that meet the entry requirements for the certificate programme. Applications can be completed online, downloaded directly from the Maltings website ( www.maltingstraining.ie) or a hard copy can be posted to you on request. Maltings venues include galway, Kilkenny and Portaoise

2. Educational Providers: The Certificate in Exercise and Health Fitness Programme offered by Educational Providers are NCEF Intensive Programmes and are specifically designed for students who are enrolled in a specific leisure & recreation/sports related programmes within approved educational institutions (FETAC Level 5) e.g Institutes of Technology and Colleges of Further Education

Application Procedure: You must be a registered student on the required sports related programme of study. You apply directly to the Educational Provider by logging onto their website or contacting them by phone. These contact links are available in Programme Locations e.g.Cork Institute of Technology or Colaiste Chiaran in Croom, CCL, Limerick.
