UNIVERSITY OF LIMERICK CONFERRING CEREMONIES CONFIRMED
NOTICE TO ALL NCEF/UL STUDENTS
Please note that the Winter Conferring Ceremonies will be held on Wednesday 18th January 2012 in the University of Limerick at 11h30.
This applies to the CEHF & DEHF cohort of students from 2010/2011 who received their official University of Limerick results on 6th September 2011.
Graduands will receive invitations to bring two adult guests to the conferring ceremony. The tickets will be issued by the University during the first week of January 2012 and will be mailed to the current address UL have for them on the student record system. Only guests holding tickets will be allowed entry to the Foundation Building on graduation day.

University of Limerick Conferring ceremonies are a vitally important and significant part of each UL/ NCEF student/ graduate’s life. It is your opportunity to officially receive your CEHF or DEHF award from UL and to celebrate with family members/friends. Members of the UL Governing Authority attend the ceremony and your award will be presented individually to you by UL President, Professor Don Barry. By inviting you to your conferring the President encourages you not only to attend the official event in the impressive UL Concert Hall, but to also take the time on the day to experience the beautiful surroundings of the UL campus
Some Important tips on Conferring Day
Graduands to help make your day an enjoyable and memorable occasion for both you and your guest, please note the following:
Neat dress: Neat dress is essential, Jacket & Tie/Suit (Runners, jeans, T-
Invitations: Carry your own invitation ticket and ensure that your guest carry their own invitation ticket
Photographers: To avoid the queues you can also get your photograph taken prior to the ceremonies
Academic Robes: Collect Academic Robes from EGO-
Guests: Show your guests their entry point at the time stated
Your entry point: You enter by Foundation Building/Concert Hall Car Park entrance (on production of your Graduand invitation ticket) and be at you assembly point as directed
Comply with the instructions of the staff in the Assembly Area
Graduands who do not Attend graduation:
If Graduands are unable to attend please email the UL Student Academic Adminsitration Martina.OHalloran@ul.ie at least 3 days prior to graduation date. The Graduation Parchment will then be post to those graduates within 8 weeks of graduation.
